Dr Tinku Kooner – MBBS (UNSW) FRANZCR

Dr Tinku Kooner obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales. He then completed his specialist radiology training at Concord Hospital, Sydney with a subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology. Dr Kooner is a qualified specialist since 1999 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Before moving into private practice, Dr Kooner was a Senior Staff Specialist at Nepean Hospital, Sydney and a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Bankstown Hospital, Sydney. He has a special interest in Interventional Procedures and Pain Management including Image Guided Steroid Injections, Muscuoloskeletal Imaging, Abdominal Imaging and Cardiac CT Imaging. Dr Kooner is also an active member of the exclusive Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG).

Dr Kooner has also completed Masters Training in CT Colonography and Cardiac CT Angiography obtaining Level 2 Society of Cardiovascular CT (CTCA) Accreditation, the highest level available in Australia.

Dr Kooner is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney Medical School and is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital Dental School.

Dr Mansoor Parker – MBBS B.Med.Sc. FRANZCR

Dr Mansoor Parker obtained his medical degree from the University of Tasmania. He then completed his specialist radiology training at Nepean Hospital, Sydney with subspecialty interests in Interventional Radiology and Pain Management, Musculoskeletal, Cardiac and Abdominal Imaging. Dr Parker is a qualified specialist since 2005 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and the exclusive Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG).

Dr Parker has completed Masters Training in Cardiac CT and CT Colonography. He has also completed CT Colonography and Cardiac CT Angiography Accreditation obtaining Level 2 Society of Cardiovascular CT (CTCA), the highest level available in Australia. He has been involved in developing CT Colongraphy software used on many CT machines today.

Dr Parker is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney Medical School and is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital Dental School.

Dr Pon Ketheswaran – MBBS (Syd. Uni) FRANZCR

Dr Pon Ketheswaran obtained his medical degree at the University of Sydney and trained at Nepean Hospital and The Canberra Hospital with sub-specialisation in MRI and Musculoskeletal Imaging including sports medicine and pain management.

Dr Ketheswaran is a qualified specialist since 2006 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He has worked as a staff specialist at Concord Hospital, Sydney.

Special interests include MRI, Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Image Guided Spinal and Pain Management.

Dr Kenneth Cooke – MBBS MBiomedEng FRANZCR

Dr Kenneth Cooke obtained his Medical Degree at the University of New South Wales and obtained a Master of Medical Engineering. He trained at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and The Children’s Hospital, Camperdown with Fellowship training in Paediatric Radiology. He is specialist qualified since 1988 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Dr Cooke has also completed Masters Training in CT Colonography and has obtained CT Colonography Accreditation.

Dr Cooke has extensive private practice experience and has previously also worked in the Sydney and Illawarra regions for many years.

Dr David Chadban – MBBS B.Med.Sc FRANZCR

Dr David Chadban obtained his medical degree from the University of Tasmania.
He then completed his specialist radiology training at Concord Hospital, Sydney.
He is specialist qualified since 2005 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Dr Chadban has extensive private practice experience and has worked in the Nepean and Bankstown regions for many years.

Special interests include Abdominal Imaging, Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Image Guided Interventions.

Dr Bit Wong – MBBS FRANZCR

Dr Bit Wong obtained his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong.
He then completed his specialist radiology training at The Western Hospital, Melbourne and Liverpool Hospital, Sydney.

He is specialist qualified since 2004 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Dr Wong has extensive private practice experience and is a staff specialist radiologist at Campbelltown Hospital.

Special interests include CT and MRI Body Imaging, Neuroradiology and Interventional procedures.

Dr Georges J. Hazan FRANZCR

Dr Hazan is a graduate of the University of Sydney medical school. He completed his clinical undergraduate training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and postgraduate training at Royal Newcastle Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He is subspecialty trained in breast imaging as the first Australian fellowship trained breast radiologist in the then NSW pilot breast screening program. He has extensive postgraduate training in MRI, especially in musculoskeletal and neuro radiology. He is currently the Designated Radiologist to the ACT BreastScreen program. He has designed educational programs for and lectured to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, GPs, surgeons, radiologists, and registrars. He is currently employed part time at the Sydney and Sydney Eye Hospital. The hospital is the tertiary referral centre for eye and hand specialties.

Dr Hazan has 30 years of experience as both a hospital and private practice radiologist. The last 12 years have been almost exclusively dedicated to MRI and to breast imaging.

Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiah-MBBS, MD, FRCR, FRANZCR

Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiah received his MBBS degree from Mysore Medical college, India in 2004 and MD Radiology from Bangalore medical college in 2008. Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiah began working for 8 years in Radiology in India and Abu Dhabi UAE, including an appointment at the highly prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi as the senior resident and Al Rahba Hospital affiliated to John Hopkins Hospital as the Specialist Radiologist.

Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiad is a general radiologist with special interests in abdominal, thoracic imaging and MRI including oncology & trauma. Other areas of interest include musculoskeletal radiology and image guided procedures.

Dr Prasad Kundum Ramaiah has a strong academic background with published articles in several peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Sandeep Tiwari-MBBS, MRCS (Edinburgh), FRCR

Dr Sandeep Tiwari obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India in 2004. Dr Tiwari moved to the UK in 2004 where he initially trained as a surgeon at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr Tiwari later completed radiology training in 2016 at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr Tiwari is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and Royal College of Radiologists of the United Kingdom. He has special interests in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Sports Injuries, Obstetrics and Gynaecology imaging and image guided interventions. He is also a member of The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Special Interest Group (OGSIG) of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Dr Sandeep Tiwari has a keen interest in teaching and has published articles in several peer reviewed journals.

Dr Tom Sing-MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Tom Sing obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales. He then completed his specialist radiology training at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, during his training, he had published a number of articles in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr Sing is a qualified specialist since 2000 and is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Before moving into private practice, Dr Sing was a Staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney and had been a Visiting Medical Officer at Nepean Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Sing is a general radiologist with extensive private practice experience and has previously worked in various Sydney regions and Illawarra regions.

Special interests include CT and Ultrasound Body Imaging, and Ultrasound guided procedures.  He has special interest in alternate pain management.

Dr Hans Van Der Wall

Dr Van der Wall is Professor of Medicine at Notre Dame University in Sydney. He trained at the Prince of Wales Adult and Children’s Hospitals and has been a Nuclear Medicine specialist for nearly 30 years. On completion of his PhD at the University of NSW he took up the position of Director of Nuclear Medicine at Concord Hospital. He is now in full-time private practice.

Dr Van der Wall has supervised 19 PhD students and published over 150 scientific papers in the refereed literature. He has co-authored chapters in 8 textbooks of Nuclear Medicine and is a section Editor of the Musculoskeletal Section of the current reference text of Nuclear Medicine (Ell & Gambhir) and an Editor of the main reference textbook on SPECT/ CT.  Dr Van der Wall has been the invited speaker at over 70 international and local meetings including the Society of Nuclear Medicine annual meetings in the US and Europe, World Congress on Low Back Pain and the European Thoracic Society Meeting.

Main research interests are in gastroesophageal reflux testing and the diagnosis of lateralising lower back pain. He has developed and patented tests in both areas and is the only practice in the country offering these tests. The research has been validated against the accepted reference standards in both areas. He has a strong interest in musculoskeletal disease and has published widely in the area with both rheumatology and sports medicine physicians such as Prof S. Kannangara, and Dr Jeni Saunders. He has strong research connections with Prof Greg Falk from Sydney University, an upper gastrointestinal surgeon.
